Tony Hodgins is a graduate from Birmingham University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant, having spent seven years in the profession, firstly with PwC and then two years with Andersen. He was a founder of Wheale Thomas Hodgins in 1990 and is now Managing Director. He specialises in Board (both Executive and Non-Executive) and Senior Management positions. Tony has gained a reputation for investing time with the client at the start of a project to understand not only the subtleties of the role but also the values and principles of the client.
David Coombes has an MBA and 35 years’ experience working in the transport and logistics industries, initially spending 20 years in the third-party logistics sector, where he managed large transport fleets and warehouse operations for many different retailers and manufacturers. He started his own business in 2006, providing consultancy services to the supply chain sector, followed by recruitment and then training, with the acquisition of Skills for Logistics in 2015. In 2016, he joined forces with WTH to provide recruitment services, predominantly in the logistics and transportation sector. He heads up our recruitment within logistics and transportation.
Tom O’Neill graduated from Strathclyde University and is one of the founders of Wheale Thomas Hodgins. He worked at PwC prior to entering the recruitment industry. He is a very experienced recruiter and recognised across the business and professional community for his many successful placements, with a particular focus on SMEs and owner-managed businesses. After a sabbatical, he has recently returned as Head of Business Development.
Our back office and general administrative support, including our Research Department, is run by Caroline O’Regan, our Head of Administration, who has been with the company for over 25 years.
